Default Getting to Ascalon City

I have a lv 20 ranger that I started in GW:Factions. I was wondering if I could get him all the way to Ascalon City. So far I have been able to get him to The Frost Gate but from there I see no way to keep going back. Is there a different route I need to take or is that as far back as I can get him?

If you've ever been ran from Ascalon to LA, you would have taken a stop at Ice Tooth Cave.

See attachment, its a bit of a long way.

No, i've never been run before so I wasn't aware. Thanks a lot for the image. Luckily I did stop there while going to Frost Gate.

Keep in mind there isn't any reason to go back unless you want the protector or explorer titles. Quests prior to Lion's Arch will not be available (they are only available to Tyrians, just as quests on Shing Jea Island are only available to Canthans), and you will not receive any rewards for doing the missions.

Actually, SOME of the quests are available... such as skill quests. It can be worth it to go back just to grab a few free (and easy to get) skills. Plus, as a ranger he might want to complete his pet collection, and need to charm a Melandru's Stalker. Really, it never hurts to go back to Ascalon...

There are no skill quests for faction chars in Ascalon as there are none for Tyrians in Sing Jea.

This quest combines well with The Thieving Nanny (for Canthan-born characters).
This quest is possibly the only Shing Jea Island quest that is available to characters born on any continent, though this may be an oversight on the developer's side.

So? Tyrian/Elona characters can still do it.

According to wiki, foreign characters can't do Ascalon's quests.

Going back to Griffon's Mouth for the 500 XP quest of "To Kryta: Journey's End" is hardly worth it -- not to mention that this quest is nowhere near Ascalon. The only reason you'd want to go back is for Protector/Guardian/Vanquishing titles, or perhaps nostalgia.
